Role description
iCEM is not a training vendor. This role designs capacity-building that sits beside technology proof and innovation pilots, so operators leave with practice they can run on Monday morning.
What you will do
- Build and refresh competency frameworks across safety, operations, environment, and digital mining.
- Convert project lessons (water, energy, drones, AR/VR) into teachable modules with faculty and partners.
- Plan the annual calendar of residential, on-site, and blended programmes with measurable learning outcomes.
- Quality-assure faculty delivery, assessments, and certification standards.
- Report programme impact to centre leadership and the board’s capacity-building mandate.
What you bring
- Postgraduate degree in mining, engineering, education, or a closely related field.
- A decade of work in mining operations, L&D, or industrial skill missions — with evidence of programmes you have owned.
- Comfort with immersive and field-based pedagogy, not only classroom hours.
- Clear writing and the ability to brief both a pit supervisor and a director.

Role description
iCEM’s technology vertical exists to stop the sector buying what looks good in a brochure. You will curate options, frame evaluations, and support concept and value proof.
What you will do
- Maintain a living map of digital and automation options relevant to Indian mining constraints.
- Design evaluation criteria covering safety, cost, environment, data quality, and operator usability.
- Support pilots on digital mine intelligence, vision systems, and decision dashboards.
- Write technology briefs that industry, academia, and government can act on.
- Work with the skills team so every adopted tool has a training path.
What you bring
- Degree in mining, electronics, computer science, or industrial engineering.
- Hands-on exposure to OT/IT, mine digitalisation, drones, or industrial IoT — vendor or operator side.

Research Associate — Water, Earth & Climate

What you will do
- Assemble literature, site data, and partner methods for water, earth, and climate workstreams.
- Support design of concept-proof and value-proof trials, including sampling and quality protocols.
- Draft knowledge notes, risk registers, and partner-ready briefs.
- Coordinate with GMDC sites and research institutions under iCEM agreements.
- Contribute to campus seminars and visiting-scholar programmes.
What you bring
- Masters or PhD in environmental science, hydrology, geology, chemical engineering, or climate studies.
- Evidence of structured research — thesis, papers, or industry R&D notes.

- Keep a clean pipeline of opportunities and a no-surprises report for leadership.
- Protect iCEM’s knowledge position — collaboration without giving away the mandate.
What you bring
- Graduate degree; MBA or public-policy qualification is useful, not mandatory.
- Experience in institutional partnerships, industry associations, or government programmes.
- Strong stakeholder craft and documentation discipline.
- Hindi and English; Gujarati is an advantage.

- Support the digital learning platform with structured content packs.
- Fact-check claims against source data before anything goes public.
- Coordinate photography, figures, and plain-language summaries with communications.
